Our Story

My journey in Audio/Video and Home Automation began in 2003, not behind a desk or in a showroom, but in the field—learning how homes are built, wired, and brought to life. I entered the industry as a prewire technician and security alarm specialist at a respected Houston-based company, gaining first-hand experience with infrastructure, sequencing, and the importance of doing things correctly before the walls close.

Through years of hands-on work, discipline, and continuous learning, I progressed into a seasoned A/V technician, eventually moving into senior programming, system commissioning, and complex integrations. Every step was earned through real-world problem-solving and accountability.

By the age of 29, I stepped into the responsibility of Project Manager and System Designer, overseeing high-end residential projects from concept through execution. I managed multidisciplinary teams and delivered bespoke Audio/Video and Home Automation systems for public figures, professional athletes, top-tier executives, prominent legal professionals, and successful entrepreneurs, including collaborations connected to the Houston Rockets.

After a decade of contributing to the growth of my previous employer, I took the entrepreneurial step in 2013 and founded Smart Media Control. In 2016, I established MODMEDIA SYSTEMS—a boutique, concierge-level integration firm intentionally built around excellence, integrity, and disciplined execution rather than volume or trends.

MODMEDIA SYSTEMS exists to design and integrate technology that aligns with how people actually live. Our work spans high-performance Audio/Video environments, sophisticated home automation, architectural lighting and shading, networking, and control systems engineered to perform reliably for years—not just impress on installation day.

More than 20 years into this journey, many clients have continued alongside me—from earlier chapters of my career to the founding and growth of MODMEDIA SYSTEMS. That trust has been earned through consistency, honesty, and results.

As MODMEDIA SYSTEMS matured, one critical gap became clear: high-end clients needed to see the vision before committing to the build. To close that gap properly, I invested more than four years in extensive training and professional certifications, mastering the most advanced design and visualization software available.

This commitment led to the creation of GOAT VISION DESIGNS—an extension of MODMEDIA SYSTEMS that amplifies our engineering and integration expertise through immersive visualization.

GOAT VISION DESIGNS provides luxury cinema and theater visualization, high-end interior and exterior design, bespoke garage and car vault concepts, outdoor entertainment environments, and VR/AR experiences that remove uncertainty and build confidence.

Today, GOAT VISION DESIGNS collaborates and designs across the globe, partnering with integrators who need an experienced design force to elevate proposals and win projects. We empower integrators to compete confidently against long-established firms—helping them win, and win correctly. In one way or another, our stamp is on the victory.
